Blessed Virgin Mary

Today the church celebrates the Blessed Virgin Mary and in our reading we hear the words of the Magnificat where Mary proclaims the greatness of the Lord and rejoices in God her Saviour.

These words by Mary can be hard to say during the times that we are facing yet over the past few months we have continued to proclaim the marvellous works of God. And yes, there is so much for us to be thankful for.

Like Mary, I hope that this week we can find time to give God praise and look for those moments in our life where we can rejoice. God is with us. He is still here and He is here now.
